Our 2018 Office Activities Committee partnered with the Heart Committee for the Summer and Best Places to Work (BPTW) Celebration. Prior to the event, everyone was notified that we would be having a photo activity contest to show the reason why you think Atlas is one of the Best Places to work and to tie in our key attributes. Everyone was encouraged to be inventive and show their creativity. The three contest categories were Best Props (Accounting won!), Best Incorporation of a Core Value (CL Ops won!) and Most Creative Overall (CL Ops won again!).
As everyone entered the room, they gathered in their groups for picture taking. Some departments got really creative and got dressed in some interesting costumes. Based on all the photos, it sure looked like everyone was enjoying the photo booth by showing their beautiful smiles and even posing whether in a group or going solo — LOL! Lunch was catered by Kuoha Culinary and the food was delicious! The menu included some healthy options like the house salad, brown rice and a “Dole” pineapple platter. For the main dishes we had sautéed sweet corn with truffle butter, pulehu chicken with smokey soy glaze and soy braised pork with ginger, daikon & green onions. That was some ono kine grindz!
Our desserts were healthy grain free chocolate chip cookies, brownies & rice krispie treats. The Commercial Ops AMs and AAs entertained everyone with a short, but special performance. They incorporated Atlas’ Key Attributes and came dressed in Hawaiian attire with some cool props. They sang this verse from a song called one paddle two paddle that went like this ….

While we were enjoying each other’s company, we ended the celebration with some giveaways.
