  • Business Development Manager

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:

    Primarily responsible for prospecting for new clients by utilizing existing network, centers of influence and other means to generate new leads & business. Plans and develops persuasive approaches that will convince potential clients to do business with our agency. Collaborates and works effectively with various agency unit expertise such as Property & Casualty, Benefits, AOAO and Risk/Claims Fee Services. Assists in growing and retaining existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

     Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Proven sales work experience
    • P&C insurance knowledge, experience, and/or training
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.

     Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

    • Must possess P&C Solicitor’s License or have the ability to obtain license within 30 days of the start date in this
    • Must complete Continuous Education (CE) as
    • Must complete and support BluePrint Selling (on-line training, coaching calls, webinars, etc.) within a specified time
    • Must complete AINS 23 within a specified time
    • Highly encouraged to obtain CIC or CPCU
    • Valid Hawaii Driver’s license and use of own

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:
    Manage all aspects of Risk and Claim Consulting Services to meet internal and external client demands. Is responsible to lead both units effectively by manage and coordinating all consulting services, service high intensity clients, contribute to agency sales goals and develop new fee service opportunities.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.
  • Risk Consultant

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:
    Manage and provide risk control services primarily to large construction and general industry sized risks of unique complexity, although accounts of lower complexity may also be assigned as needed. Provide service assistance to both internal and external corporate customers.

    Focus on providing customer service and technical assistance to address the needs of these special types of accounts. Must possess the ability to effectively manage, coordinate and work with insurance carrier loss control representatives of like ability, and maintain direct responsibility for these accounts.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • Four year college degree in a related field of study preferred.
    • Five years comparable technical experience and/or training in Safety and Health required.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be consid-ered.
    • Must be willing to complete related professional training such as Associate in Loss Control Management offered by the IIA/AICPCU.
  • Account Manager – Personal Lines Insurance

    Duties

    Hawaii’s largest locally owned insurance agency is seeking a highly motivated individual to market, sell and underwrite new and renewal personal lines accounts in accordance with agency’s underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures.  This position provides assistance and support in obtaining, placing, maintaining, expanding and servicing accounts.

    Education/Experience

    • Requires High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3-5 years insurance experience and/or training. College degree is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Property & Casualty Solicitors license required (or must be willing to obtain once hired).
    • CPCU, CIC or other insurance designations are preferred.
    • Must be a team player with excellent organization and communication skill.
    • Proficiency in Windows based applications required.

    • Producer license required (or must be willing to obtain once hired). CPCU, CIC or other property/casualty designations preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft windows based applications required.
    • Able to multitask and perform all duties under minimal supervision.
    • Must be a team player with excellent organization and communication skills.
    • Must be able to maintain and exhibit a positive and professional attitude in the performance of the job.
  • Account Executive – Commercial Lines

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties

    Initiate, service and retain commercial clients with professionalism, integrity and a sense of urgency in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures. Perform all duties under minimal supervision.

    Education/Experience

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, college degree highly desired.
    • 3 to 5 years related commercial insurance experience.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.
    • Solicitor’s license required.  CIC, CPCU, and other related courses encouraged.
    • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and access to an automobile for usage on a daily basis is required.
