  • Marketing Manager

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Hawaii’s largest locally owned insurance agency is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the agency and event marketing projects in a manner congruent with Atlas’ corporate branding strategy.  This includes: planning, leading, implementing and measuring our marketing plan, advertising strategy, public communications, social media, website and public relations program that will enhance Atlas’ image and position within the marketplace and the general public.

    Education/Experience:

    College degree with 3-5 years related marketing experience; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.  Prior experience in insurance, marketing or advertising, preferably with Hawaii businesses preferred.  Understanding of insurance products a plus.  Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.

  • Associate Account Executive

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:

    Learn and be developed to become proficient in initiating, servicing and
    retaining commercial clients with professionalism, integrity and a sense of urgency,
    in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures. Must perform all duties under
    minimal supervision.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required; college degree highly desired.
    • Minimum 1 to 3 years related commercial lines insurance experience required. Combination of education and job related experience equivalent will be considered.
    • Participate in seminars and classes for knowledge and professional development.

    Certifications/Licenses:

    • Solicitor’s License required or must obtain within a prescribed timeframe as a condition of employment.
    • CIC, CPCU or other related courses encouraged.
    • Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and use of own vehicle required.
  • Manager Small Business Unit & Business Services Group

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:

    Exciting opportunity to join Hawaii’s largest locally owned insurance agency as a member of the Commercial Lines leadership team. Seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to establish a new Small business unit to provide service for accounts $1,000 or more in revenues.  This role has overall responsibility of managing and utilizing existing outsourcing staff (Business Services Group) to include interviewing and hiring; establish virtual training (video and other electronic media) as well as auditing for quality assurance.

    Additionally, this individual will manage, train, and oversee neighbor island Account Managers with goal to transition into the SBU unit. The Manager also determines any additional staff needed to fully staff the SBU unit and train as needed.  Insurance and account management experience are required.

    Education/Experience:

    • College degree preferred.
    • 5 years related experience and/or training required with proven track record on developing technical expertise in staff.
    • Combination of education and job related experience equivalent will be considered.

    Certifications/Licenses:

    • Hawaii state Property & Casualty Solicitor’s License required or must obtain within 60 days from date of hire.
    • Attainment of CPCU, CCI or other professional designation(s) preferred.
    • Valid Hawaii’s Driver’s License and use of own vehicle required.
  • Benefit Operations Manager

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:

    Supports oversight of the daily operations and administration of the Benefit Consulting Practice and account management team members. Supports Senior Vice President(SVP) with operational activities and goals aligned to the organization’s focus and success. Assists SVP with managing major projects and the overall goals for department. Supervises assigned staff.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Finance.
    • 5-7 years progressive Employee Benefit program experience required.
    • Proven record in leadership, staff development and successes in operations and process improvement programs.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.

    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

    • Life and Health Insurance License required or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire.

    Education/Experience

    • Requires High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3-5 years insurance experience and/or training. College degree is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Property & Casualty Solicitors license required (or must be willing to obtain once hired).
    • CPCU, CIC or other insurance designations are preferred.
    • Must be a team player with excellent organization and communication skill.
    • Proficiency in Windows based applications required.
