  • AOAO Risk Consultant

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties: The AOAO Risk Consulting position will manage and provide risk control services primarily to AOAO accounts or may be assigned other accounts with risks of unique complexity as needed. Provides exceptional service assistance to both internal and external corporate customers. Will focus on, property management board interaction & collaboration, property policy development & guidance, property inspections, water leak prevention, water heaters & drainage systems, mold prevention & remediation, restoration, HVAC systems, fire & equipment systems, and other relevant condominium exposures.

    Focus on providing high-level of customer service and technical assistance to address the needs of these special types of accounts. Effectively manage,
    coordinate, and work with insurance carrier loss control representatives of like ability and maintains direct responsibility for AOAO accounts.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • Four-year college degree in an appropriate field of study, plus 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
    • 3 to 5 years comparable technical experience and/or training related to property & casualty insurance, occupational health and safety, property management, claims management/adjusting, etc.
    • Combined education, professional experience, and/or job-related skills equivalent will be considered.
    • Must be willing to complete related professional training.

    Certifications/Licenses:

    • Attainment of or working toward relevant certifications or designations is required within a specified timeframe.
    • Valid Hawaii Driver’s license and use of own vehicle required.
  • Benefit Consultant

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties: Independently manages, maintains, expands and services assigned accounts by placing employee benefit programs for clients and prospects in accordance with objectives, procedures, and policies of the company. Works as an active team member to meet retention goals, identify sales opportunities and achieve profitability goals for assigned client(s); and oversees client specific regulatory compliance requirements. Provides technical support and analysis to accounts as assigned. Serves as resource for trends, practices and policies. Assists supervisor with managing major projects,
    business development initiatives and overall operation of the department.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Finance.
    • 5 to 7 years progressive Employee Benefit program experience required.
    • Combination of education and job-related experience equivalent will be considered.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    Producer Licensing required.  CPCU, CIC or other Property/Casualty Designations preferred.

    Education/Experience

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, college degree highly desired.
    • 3 to 5 years related commercial insurance experience.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.
    • Solicitor’s license required.  CIC, CPCU, and other related courses encouraged.
    • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and access to an automobile for usage on a daily basis is required.
