  • Benefit Operations Manager

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:
    Supports oversight of the daily operations and administration of the Benefit Consulting Practice and account management team members. Supports Senior Vice President
    (SVP) with operational activities and goals aligned to the organization’s focus and success. Assists SVP with managing major projects and the overall goals for department. Supervises assigned staff.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Finance.
    • 5-7 years progressive Employee Benefit program experience required.
    • Proven record in leadership, staff development and successes in operations and process improvement programs.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.

    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

    • Life and Health Insurance License required or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire.

     

  • Business Development Manager – Benefit Consulting

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties:
    Responsible for meeting assigned sales goals. Prospects for new clients by utilizing their existing network, centers of influence and other means to generate new leads & business by soliciting, quoting and placement of new Employee Benefit coverages with professionalism, integrity and compliance with agency’s policies and procedures. Responsible for making introductions and identifying cross-selling opportunities to Personal Lines and Property & Casualty – House. Meets service and sales standards with timeliness quality and in accordance to state and federal compliance requirements and Agency policies and guidelines.

    Education/Experience:

    • College degree highly desired.
    • Proven sales work experience to include Employee Benefit program experience required.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.

    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

    • Life and Health Insurance License required or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire.
    • Must complete Continuous Education (CE) as required.
    • Must complete Sales Development Program Training (on-line training, coaching calls, webinars, etc.) within a specified time period.
    • Valid Hawaii Driver’s license and use of own vehicle.

  • Account Manager – Personal Lines Insurance

    Duties

    Hawaii’s largest locally owned insurance agency is seeking a highly motivated individual to market, sell and underwrite new and renewal personal lines accounts in accordance with agency’s underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures.  This position provides assistance and support in obtaining, placing, maintaining, expanding and servicing accounts.

    Education/Experience

    • Requires High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3-5 years insurance experience and/or training. College degree is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Property & Casualty Solicitors license required (or must be willing to obtain once hired).
    • CPCU, CIC or other insurance designations are preferred.
    • Must be a team player with excellent organization and communication skill.
    • Proficiency in Windows based applications required.
  • Account Manager – Commercial Insurance

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties

    • Producer license required (or must be willing to obtain once hired). CPCU, CIC or other property/casualty designations preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft windows based applications required.
    • Able to multitask and perform all duties under minimal supervision.
    • Must be a team player with excellent organization and communication skills.
    • Must be able to maintain and exhibit a positive and professional attitude in the performance of the job.
  • Account Executive – Commercial Lines

    Honolulu - Main / Full Time

    Duties

    Initiate, service and retain commercial clients with professionalism, integrity and a sense of urgency in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures. Perform all duties under minimal supervision.

    Education/Experience

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, college degree highly desired.
    • 3 to 5 years related commercial insurance experience.
    • Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered.
    • Solicitor’s license required.  CIC, CPCU, and other related courses encouraged.
    • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and access to an automobile for usage on a daily basis is required.
